Creation of biological systems based on RNA and RNP bioengineering

Our laboratory studies RNA and RNPs (RNA-Protein complexes), which play important roles in various biological phenomena. Our goal is to create functional RNAs and RNPs for medical and industrial applications by utilizing the latest technologies in synthetic biology and bioengineering, and through our research on RNAs and RNPs, to deepen our understanding of life phenomena, discover new life phenomena, and develop new research fields.
1. Creation of functional RNA and RNP (RNA-Protein complex) using synthetic biology and AI technology
2. Development of next-generation iPS cells and functional artificial cells and their medical applications
3. Development of next-generation mRNA technology and regulation of cell fate
